Accredited by the British Council and UK Boarder Agency and a member of English UK, Crest Schools of English has over 25 years’ experience in running English language courses and is one of the longest established English language schools in the UK. The School is situated in Edgware, a very pleasant residential suburb of North West London. Teachers and non-teaching members of staff are on hand to advise and support students and we are able to provide the level of personal care and attention to detail which larger institutions are unable to do. East Finchley School of English

The East Finchley School of English (“EFSE”) is accredited by the British Council for teaching English as a foreign language.

It is located in a quiet residential area of North London, in zone 3 and is only 25 minutes from Central London by tube. We can offer host family or student residence, all of which are within walking distance or a short bus ride from the school.

Our classes are small and friendly, with an average of 8 students, so that each student can receive a great deal of individual attention. We offer a whole range of courses, such as IELTS, FCE, CAE, CPE and General English.

The School currently has three full-time and three part-time teachers - all of whom have an enthusiasm for teaching and are committed to ensuring that their students learn all the skills they need, and to teaching the language in an interesting and stimulating way.

Oxford House School of English

Oxford House is a small school situated just outside Oxford in a friendly and secure village location. The maximum number of students per class is 8 on our long courses, and 10 during our short summer courses. It is a family-run concern and we ensure that each student receives really personal attention. We arrange excellent host family accommodation within walking distance of the school.

The school is open after normal school hours every day until 11.00 p.m., including weekends, which enables students to use both leisure and self-study facilities at almost any time without extra charge. Students can also use the 2 kitchens to cook for themselves if they wish, and tea and coffee, as well as broadband internet / e-mail access (including wireless for students wishing to bring their own laptops), are provided free of charge. Students who take full advantage of these features do not need to spend a lot of extra money in the evenings or at weekends.

There are many good schools to choose from, but we think that very few offer the same high quality of tuition, access to facilities and degree of personal attention that we provide here at Oxford House.

About Southeast England and London

London: The capital of England. Cosmopolitan, busy, fast-paced and energetic. There is something here for everyone: Markets, historic buildings, theatres and cinemas galore; concert halls, sprawling parks and gardens.

Leisure activities include the giant "London Eye" ferris wheel overlooking the Thames and London Zoo. To fully appreciate London a visitor must surely take a tour on a "Red-Bus" to get an idea of the scope London has to offer.

Beyond the capital there are many typical English countryside towns such as the cathedral city of Canterbury and the Regency seaside resort of Brighton on the south coast. All these places are less then one hour by train from London.
